QNEWS Audio is relayed in VK4, Summerland VK2, Across VK6 and P29.

QNEWS WEB PAGES this COUNCIL YEAR TALLY IS 5783, up some 2300 from last year.

Q-TINUOUS NEWS is placed DAILY on the http://www.wia.org.au/vk4 site
94 people have QNEWS automatically emailed to them each week.
Packet TeleText pages are still being distributed, a wealth of info is available on the majority of BBS's by typing TT at the BBS prompt. Clubs SHOULD pay more attention to supplying updates! (Details on updating are on each TT index page).
QNEWS FM 15 minute monthly show on community radio has ceased due to complete lack of input and time.
Dalby and Rockhampton still running 60 second Amateur stories.
Sunshine Coast has shown interest, awaiting return of scripts sent for local details to be added.
Townsville 4TTT-FM 103.9 run an Amateur Radio News Hour hosted by Alan/VK4PS every second wednesday of the month from 8pm to 9pm, have not had time to record and forward these tracks to them as yet.

With some 420+ individuals being exposed to QNEWS each week I feel it is not too much to expect regular WEEKLY input from Council AND WIA Federal. This request is nothing new, it just goes unheeded year after year as our numbers decrease year after year. A positive item each week on what the Society as well as VK4 are achieving, being heard/read by 420+ would go a long way towards stopping the general feeling "we do nothing".
